Fill every white square so each Across and Down answer matches its clue. Tap a square to select it and tap it again to switch between Across and Down. On a computer, type letters directly; arrow keys move, Tab jumps to the next clue and the space bar switches direction. A clue ending in a question mark involves wordplay. Sunday through Thursday puzzles have a theme: the title hints at what the longest answers have in common, and the connection is explained once you finish. Friday and Saturday puzzles are themeless. Pencil mode writes tentative letters in grey. Stuck? Check marks wrong letters, and Reveal fills in the answer. Revealed letters count against your leaderboard score.
